A place I've always wanted to visit is Rome. In Rome, there are a lot of different attractions such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Spanish steps and Vatican City. The Colosseum was built in 70 AD and was used for gladiator contest. Vatican City is home to many Catholic Churches like the St. Peter Basilica and Sistine Chapel. The St. Peter Basilica is a place my mom has always wanted to visit. Vatican City also offers St. Peter Square and museums that have work from Picasso, da Vinci, and Van Gough. The Pantheon, another attraction in Rome, is the eighth wonder of the ancient world. The Spanish Steps are another historical attraction in Rome. They were built in 1723.  Not only is Rome famous for their attractions, they also have amazing food too. Al Ceppo and La Fraschetta di Sandro are restaurants that locals like to eat at.
